About you: In this role, you’ll lead the Product Management function for our Practice Management product lines. You will be working with a diverse group of specialists, and through your customer and market engagement, you will become a known quantity across the Australia & New Zealand Accounting industry. Leading the function to design, build, and support the practice products that help our customers achieve their business goals, you’ll also be supported by data and insights which inform the ongoing business strategy for our practice management products. Day-to-day, you will be focused on: Vision and Strategy: Defining vision and strategy for our Accountants Practice Management Products. Roadmap and backlog: You’ll take ownership of the prioritized roadmap, user stories, and backlog, working closely with the Delivery teams to ensure continuous delivery to market. Business enablement: Throughout the product life cycle, you’ll maintain continuous engagement with the Marketing, Pre-Sales, Professional Services, and Customer Support teams – acting as a focal point to share vision, strategy, roadmap, and customer value proposition, along with delivery information. Practice data and analytics advocacy: Act as a key advocate for the value of practice analytics, insights, and dashboards for accountants and play a lead role in how AI can further enhance this proposition. Issue resolution and continuous improvement: Own and resolve escalated product issues and identify and implement process improvements. Your skills and experiences might also include: Leadership skills: A strategic yet hands-on leader who excels in inspiring and managing product teams. Technical competence: Strong technical acumen and the ability to engage with Engineering teams on a variety of possible technical solutions. Includes a strong understanding of agile development methodologies. An outcome-oriented focus: Highly organized, adept at managing competing priorities with a structured, methodical approach in a high-pressure environment. Communication proficiency: A skilled communicator who can effectively convey product visions and build strong relationships with stakeholders. Financial acumen: Strong understanding of revenue drivers and commercial frameworks (e.g., business case development). What are we all about?
