Senior Product Owner, Digital Access Optimisation Retail Banking Services (RBS) is the public face of CommBank, delivering a seamless banking experience for the future, to our 10 million + personal and small business customers. The Customer Engagement & Digital team within RBS is responsible for leading our retail end-to-end digital-first customer experience strategy, driving innovation, improving customer engagement, and creating new business opportunities through partnerships, ventures, and the Group’s digital ecosystem. Within this Domain, the Originations, Access and Onboarding (OAO) Crew is responsible for creating brilliant first impressions that empower customers to do more with us digitally. Whether it be welcoming customers new to the bank or enabling customers to access their digital banking day-to-day, we work to ensure each experience is seamless, secure, and market-leading. See yourself in the team As the Senior Product Owner for Digital Access Optimisation, you will take ownership of maturing and continuously improving our flagship digital platform access experiences. You and your team will largely be focused on enabling simple, smooth, and secure digital access experiences for genuine CommBank customers. You will play a leading role in defining, owning, and delivering on our Access strategy and experiences. This is a priority space given it supports critical processes millions of customers rely on every day - think NetBank and CommBank app Log On and Off; password management capability. You will lead your team to make enhancements and run experiments based on the opportunities you identify through robust product performance monitoring and market analysis. You will also ensure our products and experiences are always compliant with relevant regulatory requirements and industry changes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating brilliant digital experiences that drive advocacy and will be confident in using data and insights to inform the product enhancement roadmap. You will be a values-driven and supportive leader to your team. Key responsibilities will include: Product strategy and product leadership: Act as the voice of the business and customer and translate this for the team to coordinate a ‘one-team’ approach to problem solving. Advocate for a simple yet secure customer experience. Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design. Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engagement with senior stakeholders/business units to manage the delivery of the product roadmap. End-to-end delivery: Lead the design and delivery of personalised access-related digital experiences. Maintain a healthy prioritised backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes. Being accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions, and resolving escalations. Functionally lead the squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities. Proactively and diligently manage risk: Be responsible for proactively managing risks including performance of regular controls, robust product governance, identification of issues, escalation, and swift resolution of issues including remediation. Measure and track product performance: Use data and analytics to deeply understand the performance of key digital customer journeys and couple this with customer research and market insights to identify optimisation opportunities and experiments for your team to develop and build. Influence, collaborate cross-functionally to drive enterprise-wide favourable outcomes: Provide clear lines of communication with our stakeholders on the product roadmap and prioritisation decisions. Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that prioritisation is understood and agreed to. We want to hear from you if you have: Proven experience leading teams. Prior digital product ownership highly regarded. Understanding of digital security and customer identity would be advantageous. Experience in definition of Product Roadmaps, delivery of Product vision. Experience with Agile methodology, working within an Agile Matrix would be ideal. Advanced communication, stakeholder engagement, and influencing skills. Ability to think strategically and analytically using data and insights to make decisions.
