See yourself in our team: CommBank Smart Health is Australia’s first truly end-to-end digital solution for the healthcare industry – providing convenient and secure payment, claiming, and directory capabilities for Australia’s healthcare payer schemes, providers, and patients. Do work that matters: In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the Smart Health Payments Platform is reliable and available to process health claiming. You will also be responsible for working with Partnerships to grow the CommBank Health ecosystem, including the onboarding experience and ensuring that the features and functionality align with CommBank’s safe, sound, and secure vision. Responsibilities: Lead and develop the product roadmap, and engage with senior stakeholders/business units to manage the delivery of the product roadmap. Lead the squad day-to-day to deliver change and lifecycle activities. Lead an integrated squad that brings business and technologists together, including product managers, engineers, business analysts, and testers. Manage the merchant lifecycle, implementing improvements as required. Ensure customers, developers, and suppliers have the support they require and problems resolved. Accountable for the commercial, contractual, and compliance management of key suppliers. Accountable for addressing impediments, driving decisions, and resolving escalations. Act as the voice of the business and translate this for the team. Drive project exploration and inception to ensure alignment of product strategy. Formulate hypotheses to validate customer problems and define clear learning objectives that will inform product roadmap and prioritisation decisions. Identify, articulate and manage risks and compliance across streams of work. Incorporate design thinking and analytics to inform product design. Maintain a healthy prioritised Backlog to deliver business and customer outcomes. Manage senior business and technical stakeholders to ensure that priorities are understood and agreed to. Manage the squad’s performance to defined objectives including OKR tracking, etc. Qualifications & Experience: Proven Product Owner experience, ideally (but not mandatory) within healthcare or merchant acquiring/ecommerce. An understanding of payments. A passion for product management & solving customer problems. Experience working with third-party suppliers, including management of the relationship. Great team leader with experience leading client services or technical support teams. Strong decision-making, communication (written and verbal), and prioritisation skills. A curiosity for all-things-digital, monitoring the latest technology trends. Experience in liaising with a range of stakeholders from senior managers to technical developer teams. Highly analytical skills with strong commercial acumen. A solid understanding of technology and how it enables customer experiences. You can be you; we want the real people beneath the skill set.
