We have an opportunity for a Production Superintendent to join us at our historic site in Maryvale, Victoria. This role will oversee the Power & Recovery area at the site. The key focus of this role will be to: Oversee day-to-day production operations, ensuring safety, production, and environmental targets are met Lead and develop a team of operators to maintain a high-performance work environment. Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, waste reduction, cost optimisation and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) Collaborate with the maintenance and engineering teams to ensure maximum uptime. Prioritising maintenance jobs with the teams and ensure the isolations and permits for shutdown are organised. For this role we would ideally like you to have: Experience leading longstanding production teams (ideally within a heavy manufacturing environment) Demonstrated people leadership skills and a passion for continuous improvement. Strong problem solving and decision-making skills in high pressure situations. Strong knowledge of process manufacturing, production scheduling, and operational best practices. Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering (preferably chemical) Well-developed leadership and supervisory skills Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (including Excel) and experience using SAP would be viewed favourably Ability to be agile and adaptable and respond quickly and effectively to changing priorities Discover more… by visiting our website at Applications are open to both internal and external candidates.
