Accent Aluminium Windows & Doors (part of B&P Group Pty Ltd) is 100% Australian owned and operated, and always will be. With more than 40 years experience in the design, manufacture and installation of aluminium windows and doors, we have seen trends change over time. We are seeking a Production/Plant Engineer (to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis) to be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes and ensuring the efficient production of aluminium doors, windows, and other related products. This role involves optimizing production lines, maintaining equipment, and ensuring quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. Key Responsibilities: Process Improvement: Analyze existing manufacturing processes for commercial and residential doors and windows to identify areas for efficiency improvements and cost reduction. Performance Improvement: Develop and implement strategies aimed at improving the performance and efficiency of production and plant activities, focusing on reducing waste and increasing throughput. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all production equipment is maintained, calibrated, and operating at optimal levels to support the production of commercial and residential products. Quality Assurance: Develop and implement quality control measures to ensure that all products meet company standards and customer specifications. Project Management: Lead projects for new product introductions and enhancements, coordinating with design, production, and supply chain teams. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to manufacturing, safety, and environmental impact. Collaboration: Work closely with the supply and install teams to ensure seamless integration of production and installation processes. Training: Provide training and support to production staff on new processes and equipment usage. Appropriate candidate must have the following skills, education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or related field). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Australian Experience: At least 3+ years of Australian Experience OR Overseas Experience: At least 3+ years of Overseas Experience. Specialist: Production or Plant Engineering. Work Rights: Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident or Full Work Rights Holder. Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Proficiency in CAD software and manufacturing management systems. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
