Job Description

Join our team and manage large workplace projects and change management initiatives, by ensuring successful completion within agreed performance criteria to enable enhanced service delivery. Manage the delivery of programs that influence the strategic direction of the business. Manage, identify, develop and plan business and organisational change management deliverables and resources required to ensure the successful transition to new process outcomes. Manage the definition, documentation and successful completion of large workplace and complex projects within commercial laundry environment with Queensland Health project management methodologies. Promote and ensure use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, including benefits realisation and risk and issue management, to ensure project outcomes are delivered. Manage, monitor and report on project related trends and performance against project plans and schedules. Harness and encourage innovative solutions in response to removing barriers that may impact on the success of the project. Analyse, interpret and solve difficult problems, engaging team and management input to provide accurate and timely solutions. Make sound decisions that can be publicly upheld, based on analysis of available information and the application of sound judgement decision outcomes and manage risk. Manage and monitor resources, operational expenses and capital costs against project forecasts. Initiate, influence and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communication channels to promote the successful adoption of change within the business, and foster relationships through lessons learned, feedback mechanisms and management of expectations. Negotiate skilfully in tough situations, winning concessions without damaging relationships. Manage capability and develop resources by leading and mentoring project teams. Take personal responsibility to deliver on agreed outcomes, model high standards of professionalism and ethical behaviour; demonstrate self-awareness and a commitment to personal development. Role fit The essential requirements for this role are: Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor project teams. Strong skills in initiating, influencing, and maintaining relationships with key internal and external stakeholders. Project & Change Management Expertise: Experience in managing the delivery of programs and large, complex projects. Proficiency in change management, including planning and implementing business and organizational change deliverables. Strategic Planning and Vision: Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with organizational goals and business direction. Strong understanding of program/project and change management methodologies and frameworks. Risk Management and Problem-Solving: Proficiency in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks.
