Program Development and Innovation Officer This is a part-time position on a 6-month fixed-term contract with the possibility to extend. Position Overview: The Project Officer supports the Executive Manager Innovation and New Service Development in coordinating and delivering projects and initiatives. The role encompasses program development, service provision, team support, compliance, and professional development, contributing to innovative solutions that meet community needs. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Embrace and uphold the values of Accordwest. Function within relevant policy, procedure, work instructions, manuals, legislation, industry requirements and guides, standards, and health and safety culture requirements. Actively contribute to a positive team culture with a purposeful, client-centred approach. Participate in relevant training, professional development, and performance reviews. Contribute and support development and maintenance of continuous quality improvement systems, policies, and procedures. Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of every client in our services. Focus and apply expertise to achieve operational and organisational strategy. Add value by saving money, time, reducing risk, growing income, and supporting a productive and safe workplace. Promote the organisation's culture through behaving ethically in accordance with the Code of Conduct, promoting honesty, transparency, and accountability. Experience and Qualifications: Demonstrated ability to coordinate and support projects in a collaborative environment. Strong organisational and time management skills, with attention to detail. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Basic understanding of compliance and risk management principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools. Familiarity with grant writing or funding application processes. Knowledge of social services or community programs. Event Management and Marketing, Social and mainstream media knowledge and experience. Commitment to personal and professional growth. SharePoint Document Management experience and training.
