One of Australia’s leading Federal Government departments is seeking an experienced Cloud Program Director to lead a skilled Project team responsible for the delivery of a multi-billion dollar enterprise capability cloud uplift program. This role is based in Canberra, with the successful Cloud Program Director offered a 12-month contract with a 12-month extension option. The successful Program Director will be responsible for: Oversee all aspects of program and project development resulting in implementation across a complex program Lead and manage stakeholder relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management Develop and implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of projects Provide expert advice and information to stakeholders on emerging project issues and present recommendations to support project delivery The successful Program Director will have experience in: Track record of delivering on programs or projects of a similar size, complexity and subject matter to the Services Ability to identify and effectively address issues and challenges on programs or projects Experience in transferring knowledge to an internal program or project team, particularly as part of transition-out activities Demonstrated knowledge working on complex cloud transformation programs This is a great opportunity to be a key leader in Australia’s largest ICT transformation initiatives leading a high-performing team!
