Program Director, Teaching & Learning (Geelong) Type: Fixed Term Role: Position of Leadership Hours: Full-time Closes: 10-03-2025 About the role Program Director, Teaching & Learning In 2025, Saints College, Geelong, is seeking an experienced Program Director – Teaching & Learning to join their school community. Since 2012, Saints College has led the way in radically inclusive education, supporting students with diverse challenges. We are an inclusive school for 12–25-year-olds seeking an alternative to mainstream education. We operate multiple campuses located in Fitzroy North, North Melbourne, Sunshine, Geelong, Colac, Ballarat, Bungaree and a dual engagement virtual learning campus, BlendED. The young people we serve often face significant and complex challenges, which demand unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation by Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices. The Role: This leadership position reports to the Campus Principal and is responsible for the provision of best practice teaching and learning strategies across the campus, including elective subjects and extracurricular activities that meet relevant standards. You will be employed as an ongoing Teacher, with a Position of Leadership (POL) allowance for a 3-year fixed term period, commencing in Term 2 2025, under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022. You will need: Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles: Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal, and Honesty . Tertiary qualifications in Education. Current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration. Appropriate Australian Working Rights. 3 years’ experience in a similar role. Comprehensive knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum, VCE, VCE VM, and VPC. Demonstrated leadership experience in staff support and professional supervision in collaborative team settings.
