Large State Government Department Paying up to $1330 inc super Flexible WFH arrangement (Not fully remote) Our Client, a large state government department, is conducting a significant upgrade of their existing Wireless Network. The Network provides secure radio communications for Queensland's public safety agencies. Currently in the early stages of the program, they are looking for an experienced Program Director to lead the lifecycle planning and investment case. What you will be doing: Lead the development of the strategic approach and investment case for the next generation of public safety communications networks, with capabilities required to underpin modern public safety, disaster response, and disaster recovery. Lead and manage the establishment and ongoing operations of the program and project management governance and resourcing structure required to deliver the investment case. Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including within the Queensland Government Customer and Digital Group, industry, and other government agencies and jurisdictions, to strive for mutually beneficial outcomes. Adopt a sector-wide leadership role, working collaboratively with partners across local, state, and federal governments, and industry, in the development of the strategic approach to the Next Generation Public Safety Communications Network. Establish the program and project delivery implementation structure of the Next Generation Public Safety Communications Network, dependent upon the investment case outcome.
