The Opportunity Being part of the project delivery team at Veris makes you a leader in utilising spatial data as the DNA of our clients' assets. We are hiring for a Senior Program management professional who can develop and implement a Project Management Office (PMO) Capability linked to delivering above market outcomes for Veris’ clients. This professional must be able to develop PM capability in people, systems, programs and lead their implementation. Alongside this, strong client exposure and ability to work with clients is essential, as is a strong understanding of how a PMO is deployed to deliver growth and improved business performance. This role will report to the COO (Chief Operating Officer) and will work alongside the COO and the Senior Leadership team to deliver the desired outcomes. About You You will be able to demonstrate a proven history in the objectives below and outcomes. Leading Project System maintenance, development, and updates with the desired outcome being to install consistent deployment of Project System across each project. System development at a pace that is at or slightly beyond the organisation's capability to absorb it. Setting the expectations for high performing Project Performance and set the framework to enable success. Obtaining repeat work from clients. Developing, assessing, and maintaining Project Manager Accreditation. Develop an accreditation framework using PIMBOK or similar framework. Develop a Training program – linked to a career pathway - stepping through the various levels of Projects. Develop and implement training program for Project Managers to enable career ladder development as Project Managers. Develop training that supports Project Managers to develop their careers, and in doing so become accredited at the base level of project management in the organisation from moving from one level of project manager accreditation into the next. Establish a monthly cadence of project reviews. Establish a monthly project governance framework. Lead the reviews of this governance at the end of each month for each business unit. Work alongside Veris’ quality system. Oversee the quality framework as it relates to project delivery. Review and activate system improvement alongside the other elements of the quality system.
