Base pay range A$200,000.00/yr - A$250,000.00/yr My client is a highly regarded international IT software and infrastructure vendor who has built a fantastic reputation in a number of key markets. Long established, they are committed to providing the best solutions, service and advice to ensure their clients’ experience is unparalleled. Recently they secured a major program of works involving a large retail customer implementing a highly complex retail system involving proprietary and 3rd party technology. As a result, my client now seeks a dedicated Program Manager preferably with experience running complex projects in the Retail sector who can drive multiphase, concurrent projects to completion. The Role With the support of the Executive team, your influential role will focus on ensuring strong processes are followed to bring the internal and 3rd party project and implementation teams to timely, successful delivery of ongoing, significant technology projects within this account, involving both customized software and hardware components. You will leverage your advanced project and people management skills to ensure uniformity in project approach, engaging at the highest levels within the client and making the customer experience seamless. You will develop a tailored methodology-set, specific to the business and implement this methodology within the team. You will be responsible for ensuring project KPI’s are met by individuals or teams and act as the uppermost escalation point on project issue resolutions. This is a permanent position. Proven Experience Required You have a successful history of complex, software-driven project delivery, preferably with experience delivering to large retail customers and demonstrated experience leading diverse project teams. Experience working for a vendor is preferable. SDLC experience will be highly valued. You follow proven PM methodology. You are an effective corporate communicator and can influence outcomes across multiple projects within a scope of works. You are able to manage internal and external resources and have effectively maintained professional services partnership in delivering to time and budget expectations.
