About the Role The Program Manager, Risk Transformation will work closely with the Workstream Lead to deliver the Financial Risk workstream body of work. This role is accountable for managing all elements of defining scope and delivery for the Financial Risk workstream and will ensure key deliverables run on time, within budget as well as prioritisation planning and resource allocation with the right capabilities to support delivery success. The Program Manager will be required to ensure connectivity across the other workstreams within Risk Transformation and the respective Divisions, management of critical interdependencies and interaction points, as well as management of risks and issues. Change at this scale is highly complex and requires significant, coordinated work across the people, technology, finance, comms, change and risk elements. Role Type: 12 Month Fixed Term/Secondment contract or Permanent (to be determined) Role Location: 833 Collins Street, Docklands VIC 3008Work Hours: Full time (40 hours per week) What will your day look like? As the Program Manager, you will be responsible for achievement of program goals, ensuring best practices are achieved and effectively governed. You will be accountable for coordinating efforts between different projects, leading the overall program with respect to strategy, implementation and risk management. As a Program Manager, you are accountable for: Defining, developing and managing continuous improvements across the project body of work Leading best practice in governance, risk management and compliance across the project body of work Managing the programs of work – including finances, prioritising and aligning resources, investment and initiatives with the line of business strategy Monitoring and mitigating project risks, issues, controls Ensuring defined Business program metrics are met Regular reporting on project status Providing leadership and guidance to the project teams Supporting the Workstream Lead as an influencer of senior stakeholders What will you bring? To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following: Proven ability in leading large scale transformation programs of work with significant budget in a complex environment, with a strong understanding of the drivers of success in program delivery Demonstrated experience working closely with senior stakeholders internally Ability to paint a compelling vision to inspire your team and partners Deep analytical thinking and the ability to make decisions with imperfect information to cut through ambiguity An excellent reputation as a people leader, mentor, and coach, with a proven track record of developing new and emerging leaders capable of making an impact at the enterprise level Effective communication channels to effectively resolve issues and remove barriers to success Knowledge of the Risk function and some knowledge of the broader businesses / divisions Strong commercial acumen and understand the complex regulatory and multi-geography environment that risk is operating in You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
