The Role As a key leader in our transformation agenda, you will deliver strategic programs and projects designed to enhance organisational efficiency and service delivery across the University. Your impact will be significant , shaping the future of Macquarie University through transformational organisation change. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage workforce and business transformation initiatives, ensuring successful implementation from concept to completion. Engage and collaborate with stakeholders across Faculties and Portfolios to drive cultural, operational and service alignment. Develop and execute business cases , providing expert advice on feasibility, risk mitigation, and program planning in alignment with strategic priorities. Manage program budgets to ensure financial sustainability and effective resource allocation. Apply data-driven methodologies to assess, report, and optimise program outcomes. Design and implement business requirements for systems and processes that enable effective evaluation and governance. Coach and lead a high-performing team to deliver transformative results. About You You are a seasoned Program Manager with deep expertise in leading large-scale, multi-stream transformation programs. You excel in designing and embedding new operating models, service delivery improvements, and cultural change initiatives . Ideally, you have experience in Higher Education or similarly complex environments, where collaboration, innovation, and strategic execution are key. In addition, you will have: Proven expertise in organisational, business, and workforce transformation Strong leadership in change management, culture transformation, and accountability Knowledge of Design Thinking and business improvement methodologies Exceptional project management qualifications and experience Strong stakeholder engagement, problem-solving, and analytical skills Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments This is a rare and exciting opportunity to drive real organisational transformation in a world-class institution.
