About the Role The Program Manager Regulation Implementation will oversee the rollout of the new CFA Regulations 2025, ensuring CFA operations align with updated standards to enhance fire safety and streamline Brigade administrative management. This position, supported by the Program Manager Regulations and Governance, will coordinate efforts across CFA, ensuring accountability for developing necessary policies, processes, and systems to ensure the successful implementation of the new regulations. This role will also manage stakeholder communication, program governance, and quality control. Key responsibilities of this role will include: Develop and execute a robust implementation plan, ensuring effective risk management, benefits realisation, stakeholder engagement, reporting, and time management. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure understanding of and adherence to the new regulations, including creating a communication plan. Oversee work streams, providing quality control and assurance to the General Manager Governance, Legal and Risk, the Executive Committee, and the Board. Work with responsible areas to identify and implement business process and system enhancements. Conduct a post-implementation evaluation. About You Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in program management in a regulatory space, ideally coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications. With proven expertise in delivering complex programs and influencing organisational capability in this field, you will demonstrate exceptional skills in preparing professional and insightful reporting and briefings for senior management and advanced interpersonal abilities to build and manage relationships across the organisation at all levels. Strong leadership and problem-solving skills are essential to this role, along with the ability to manage risks, dependencies, and complex issues while providing innovative solutions. The successful candidate will exhibit political acumen and a deep understanding of government processes, enabling them to deliver authoritative advice and influential recommendations to senior management.
