Program Manager, ToBRFV Response Program The Opportunity The Program Manager, Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV) Response Program provides overall leadership and responsibility for the management of the Program requiring very high levels of discipline, knowledge and experience to determine goals and priorities aligning with the National Response Framework and PIRSA's strategic goals. The Program Manager will oversee five functional leads, which collectively constitute the Program's Incident Management Team, ensuring their alignment with strategic objectives and the delivery of program goals. The incumbent also actively drives and influences corporate culture and continuous improvement initiatives. The role contributes to delivering the agency's priorities including setting objectives for the response to the Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV) outbreak, consistent with national obligations and considering the impact on the industry. The role plays a key part in supporting strategic planning and decision-making, and ensures the Program strives towards Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV) eradication. Australian residency or current work permit is required (responsibility of applicant to provide evidence of a current work permit). Full time opportunity, 37.5 hours per week Term contract until February 2026 Requirements Possession of a current driver's license and willingness to drive. Out of hours work and inter / intrastate travel may be required. You acknowledge your work, health and safety obligations and our expectations when applying for a role. The incumbent will be required to undertake emergency management training and must be willing to participate in emergency preparedness, response and recovery activities required by government agencies. Qualifications Essential: Nil.
