About Abergeldie Abergeldie is an Australian owned contractor with 30 years’ industry experience in Australia and New Zealand. We design and deliver projects in the Water, Bridges, Transport, Underground, Energy and Remediation industry sectors: the complex infrastructure needed to build better communities. About the program Abergeldie is one of two Construction Partners appointed by WaterNSW to deliver their Asset, Renewals and Replacement Program (ARRP). The ARRP contract will be delivered over five years with an option to extend another three years. Under the ARRP, Abergeldie will deliver multi-disciplinary packages varying in size and complexity, spread across a large geographical footprint in NSW. The scope is vast and includes, but is not limited to, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical minor capital works and rehabilitation. The program is valued up to $80 million. About the opportunity We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee the successful delivery of this complex program. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality project execution, operational efficiency, and strong client relationships. You will lead a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers, ensuring seamless coordination across multiple projects and disciplines. Day to day you will; Oversee the successful execution of all projects within the program, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational objectives. Drive financial performance, ensuring profitability, cost optimisation, and commercial success. Lead a proactive approach to risk, compliance, and safety, embedding industry best practices in quality, environmental, and safety across all projects. Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring Abergeldie remains as a trusted delivery partner for WaterNSW. Support, develop, and mentor a high-performing team, ensuring they have the skills, resources, and opportunities to succeed and grow within the program. What you’ll bring to the team Demonstarted experience in program management within the water sector, overseeing multi-disciplinary projects involving civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical works. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of delivering multi-disciplinary infrastructure programs. A strategic and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage complexity and drive continuous improvement. Proven ability to manage contracts, mitigate risks, and optimise financial performance across complex programs. A tertiary qualification in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
