Base pay range A$135.00/hr - A$150.00/hr Job Description: Program Delivery Manager (Data and Analytics Ecosystem) Location: Canberra, Sydney, Melbourne, or Brisbane Contract: 12 months Overview: A Federal Department is seeking an experienced Program Delivery Manager to lead its transformative Data and Analytics Ecosystem Program . This program focuses on modernizing the department's data and analytics environment to enhance scalability, governance, and efficiency. By implementing a hybrid cloud approach, the program aims to deliver a modernized data platform that supports strategic goals and fosters innovation. Key Responsibilities: Lead the delivery of the Data and Analytics Ecosystem Program, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and business benefits. Oversee the design, development, and implementation of a modern data platform and associated capabilities. Drive business change management initiatives to support modernization efforts. Establish and manage collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams across various workstreams. Identify and mitigate risks, manage dependencies, and ensure seamless program delivery. Develop governance frameworks, execution plans, schedules, and budgets to achieve program objectives. Manage procurement processes, including tenders, contract negotiations, and vendor relationships. Provide updates and strategic recommendations to senior executives and stakeholders. Technical Skills: At least 5+ years of experience leading complex ICT-enabled programs, preferably in data and analytics modernization. Expertise in governance structures, agile delivery frameworks (SAFe, Scrum), and transformative practices. Proven ability to manage procurement processes and vendor partnerships for large-scale ICT solutions. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills to influence outcomes and drive collaboration. Relevant qualifications in Information Systems or related disciplines. Knowledge of PRINCE2, PMBOK, and Agile methodologies.
