Resourceful Recruitment is seeking an experienced Project Planner based in Sydney for an initial 5-month contract, with the opportunity for extension, to join a dynamic team based in Sydney. As the Project Planner, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining project and program schedules, performing Earned Value Assessment (EVA), and driving the risk management process for allocated projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, integrating multiple project schedules into a master program. Work closely with internal stakeholders to optimise and refine schedules. Lead Earned Value assessment processes and collaborate with project teams to identify and address deviations from the program baseline. Suggest recovery plans where needed. Facilitate risk reviews and updates to the risk register. Perform risk analysis and contingency tracking, ensuring integration of risk management targets with project timelines. Build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Communicate project performance updates, milestones, and risks effectively to the team. Identify and recommend improvements to project management systems to ensure efficiency. Prepare reports on project performance, critical paths, and forecasts. Key Requirements: Extensive experience in project planning, earned value, and risk analysis in a capital-intensive industry. Strong background in creating detailed project schedules and risk analysis reports. Expertise in MS Project, Primavera P6, and Excel. Previous experience in engineering, construction phases, and ideally, large power industry or substation and transmission line projects.
