This includes planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting on projects of varying size and complexity. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual agreements. Your expertise will support the development of accurate forecasts and the management of risks, enhancing the company's ability to meet its strategic goals. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement project control systems and procedures to ensure project planning and execution aligns with company goals. Coordinate with project managers and other department heads to ensure an integrated approach to project delivery. Assist with the preparation and maintenance of project schedules, budgets, cost tracking reports, and other financial performance tools. Analyse project performance data to report on project status, including risks, timeline adjustments, and resource allocations. Oversee the preparation of weekly and monthly reports on project progress and forecast updates. Provide advice to guidance to project management teams and schedulers to achieve project objectives. Facilitate project review meetings and provide detailed insights and strategic advice to improve project outcomes. Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure costs remain within the project financial plan. Implement risk management frameworks and contingency plans to mitigate project risks. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project control or project management within the construction industry. Strong understanding of construction processes, scheduling, cost control, and project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project). Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to manage and develop a team. Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills. Advanced problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in a relevant field. Professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar. Software Requirements: Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project software is essential. Familiarity with ERP systems like MYOB, Pronto, SAP, Oracle, or equivalent. Competence in using MS Office Suite, particularly Excel for financial tracking and reporting. Working Conditions: Office environment with frequent site visits. Requires flexibility to work extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines.
