The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, cost control, scheduling, and risk management. This role involves supporting cost control, scheduling, and monitoring functions to ensure the smooth flow of project operations. Our projects include tailings residue and waste storage facilities, water management structures, water dams and hydroelectric facilities, and mine infrastructure projects. We are engaged in the entire project cycle from site investigation, design, construction, commissioning, and operations, and closure. This allows our professionals to gain valuable engineering and project management experience on fascinating projects. Responsibilities: Project Management and Control: Oversee project schedules, cost control, change management, and project management activities. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare comprehensive management reports, project documentation, and technical audits. Maintain accurate records of project progress and performance indicators. Client Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with clients, understand their requirements, and provide regular updates on project progress. Ensure client satisfaction and address any concerns promptly. Cost Engineering: Perform detailed cost analyses, develop cost estimates, and manage project budgets. Prepare financial reports and ensure financial compliance. Risk Management: Conduct risk assessments and implement risk mitigation strategies. Resolve delay claims and manage construction disputes according to international practices (ASCE). Schedule Management: Develop and manage project schedules using Primavera P6. Monitor project progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet project goals. Attributes and Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or Construction Management. CPEng / RPEQ certification or eligibility to apply within 12 months of joining. Proficient in project management tools and methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and team coordination abilities. Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices will be beneficial. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Minimum of 5 years in project control and cost engineering roles. Experience in infrastructure and mining projects.
