Project Coordinator – Parks and Environment Open Space and Environment Permanent Full Time Hervey Bay Stream A Level 5 - $89,809 + superannuation + 17.5% leave loading + 9-day fortnight At Fraser Coast Regional Council, our people are our most important asset and central to achieving our purpose of Building Better Communities Together. What we are looking for: We're seeking a Project Coordinator to manage the delivery of a diverse range of park, open space, and natural environment-related projects. This is a varied, interesting position and an excellent opportunity to hone your skills. What your day will look like: Overseeing projects from inception through to completion Investigating proposed capital projects and determining validity Overseeing engaged internal and external consultants Engaging with key community and council stakeholders Undertaking procurement, managing budgets, and reporting Providing input into the 10-year Capital Program What you’ll need for success: Significant experience in a similar role and confidence in managing projects from inception to completion. Knowledge of relevant acts and legislation. Strong communication skills with the ability to relate well to a variety of people. Experience in contracts and procurement tendering processes. Solid organisational, planning, and time management skills.
