Remote - Sydney or Brisbane based. Initial 6 month contract with extension to 12 months. Up to $350 per day. The Role The purpose of this role is to manage energy contracts, including liaising with retailers to ensure compliance with terms and conditions as well as validating energy bills to ensure accuracy and resolving discrepancies with suppliers. You will be required to report on monthly energy costs and identify trends or areas for cost optimization whilst supporting the development and documentation of energy management processes and best practices. Reporting to the Manager - Energy Solutions, you will: Coordinate with energy retailers and suppliers to manage contracts, resolve billing issues, and ensure service delivery aligns with agreements. Track and report on monthly energy costs, highlighting variances, trends, and opportunities for cost savings. Maintain accurate records of energy contracts, pricing structures, and supplier agreements. Monitor industry regulations and assist in ensuring the organization remains compliant with relevant energy laws and guidelines. Support procurement activities related to energy, including contract renewals and supplier negotiations. Organize and facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions related to energy management and procurement. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the energy and procurement function. Requirements to be successful: Experienced project coordinator background in similar field i.e. Energy, Telco, Power, infrastructure or similar Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, and attention to detail. Strong IT skills, i.e. prior experience using project management tools, finance systems and the standard Microsoft Office Suite Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced business operating methodology.
