Job Description

This high profile Commercial-Industrial Builder is undertaking a $300m project in the Western District area of Victoria and is looking to add a Project Director/Senior Project Manager to their team. In this role you will play a key role managing client and stakeholder relationships, as well as directing construction activities on a major project in the region. You will both support and lead a high calibre construction team across the full spectrum of the project delivery. To suit this role it is expected you have experience as either a Project Director or Senior Project Manager or in a senior capacity in a delivery function with a larger scale commercial-industrial builder in Melbourne. Preferably you will have experience working on "Managing Contractor" contracts and be capable of operating under these conditions. It is also preferable you have previous experience working on health/hospital projects. You will have excellent communication skills, in-depth construction knowledge, commercial acumen and strong problem solving skills in a construction environment. This role will suit a senior level operator looking to be part of a close team. The project is situated in the western region of Victoria and this is viewed as a site based role.
