Job Description

About the Role As a Project Engineer , you'll provide technical expertise and hands-on leadership , ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards . You'll be instrumental in resource planning, construction methodologies, contract administration, subcontractor management, and risk mitigation . This is a site-based role , requiring frequent inspections to maintain work quality, environmental compliance, and safety standards . Key Responsibilities Lead & Supervise: Provide on-the-ground leadership , ensuring work is executed safely and efficiently across multiple work fronts. Plan & Optimise: Develop construction methodologies, oversee resource planning , and assist in budget forecasting . Safety & Compliance: Monitor work quality, risk assessments (JSA/JHA), Permits to Work , and ensure adherence to all client policies. Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with contractors, internal teams, and external stakeholders to align project priorities and risk management. Technical Oversight: Maintain GPS databases for daily operations, upload ore files, and audit mine traffic management plans . What You Need to Succeed Experience in large-scale earthworks projects , ideally on a mine site or similar environment. Strong safety mindset and commitment to environmental controls. Tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or related discipline. Valid drivers licence this role requires mobility.
