Position Overview As a Full Time Project Engineer (Civil Engineering), you will be responsible for planning, designing, and managing civil engineering projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will provide technical expertise, oversee project execution, and coordinate with stakeholders to achieve optimal project outcomes. This role requires strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and an in-depth understanding of civil engineering principles. Responsibilities Plan, design, and oversee civil engineering projects, including roads, bridges, water supply, drainage, and other infrastructure developments. Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, budgets, and ensure adherence to scope, timelines, and financial constraints. Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and site investigations to determine project viability and technical specifications. Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements. Provide technical guidance and supervision to engineers, construction teams, and other project personnel. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, standards, and environmental and safety regulations. Prepare and manage project documentation, including design specifications, reports, and contract documents. Monitor and evaluate project progress, resolving technical issues and recommending engineering solutions as needed. Utilize project management software and engineering tools to optimize project execution and reporting. Communicate project status and key deliverables to senior management and relevant stakeholders. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil engineering project management, preferably within the construction or infrastructure sector. Strong technical knowledge of structural, geotechnical, transportation, water resources, or environmental engineering. Proficiency in engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and project management tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a strong ability to manage project risks. Experience in contract administration and compliance with regulatory requirements. Effective communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
