The five pillars of our transformation focus on: Excellent Customer Experience and Service Delivery Great Organisational Culture Innovation and Continuous Improvement Good Governance and Integrity The role: The position will provide high quality, innovative, practical civil engineering services and project management to Whitehorse City Council in the implementation of the Council’s Community Infrastructure projects (i.e. Streetscape Improvements, Traffic Management Devices, Car Parks, Sports Field Lighting, Sports Courts and Multi-purpose areas, Open Space Reserves and Play Spaces) in the Capital Works Program, with an emphasis on effective service delivery and commitment to quality design and construction outcomes. About you: To be considered for this position you will have: Bachelor of Civil Engineering including BLA Registration. Relevant experience in the design and construction of community infrastructure and civil engineering capital works projects. Demonstrated project management skills in the delivery of community infrastructure projects and other capital works projects. Excellent interpersonal skills. Experience in and excellent knowledge of environmental issues as well as occupational health and safety issues relevant to the position.
