Job Description We are now seeking an experienced Project Engineer – M & E to join our team working on critical maintenance activities and upgrade works across Melbourne’s iconic CityLink and the new West Gate Tunnel. What you’ll bring Ideally, you will possess a Tertiary Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and experience managing Maintenance projects in the fields of civil, structural, mechanical and electrical along with; Exposure to the preparation of project budgets and review of financial information to make sound business decisions Knowledge of best practice in mechanical and electrical maintenance and a proven ability to document scopes of work Experience in planning and scheduling of works Demonstrated ability to manage and execute projects Ability to champion the preparation of tenders and negotiate contracts A reputation based on trust by delivering on promises with excellence while focusing on safety, value for money and efficiency Strong safety focus with demonstrated evidence of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero harm environment Downer is a company that believes people are our greatest asset.
