Excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join a world leading manufacturing business on a very exciting project! • 3 Months Contract position (possible extension)• World leading manufacturing business• Based in Northern Suburbs of Metro Melbourne Project Engineer – Packaging Support This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer with packaging or inspection knowledge in the pharmaceutical sector to join a leading manufacturing business, working on an interesting project. The position will be based in the Northern part of Melbourne and is a 3 month full time contract. Job Description: The Project Engineer – Packaging Support will be responsible for managing the installation and qualification of a new carton printer, as well as supporting a new syringe packaging line to be our clients manufacturing site. This will be achieved as a key contributor in the team to deliver the project milestones within budget, collaborating closely with project and business leaders/teams to manage facility and equipment design, construction, qualification/validation, and licensure of the facilities and manufacturing processes for future business operations. Responsibilities: Supporting the packaging line and carton printer installation and commissioning Design Qualification GMP Equipment procurement Equipment FATs Off-site Fabrication and On-site installation of equipment FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) SAT (Site Acceptance Testing) Commissioning of the Equipment Qualification of the Equipment Driving value engineering initiatives and maintaining strategic engagement across multiple local and global business groups. Experience and Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in engineering, or science. A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role Experience in troubleshooting, process engineering and ability to understand and implement client requirements. Experience with installation, commissioning, and operation of packaging equipment, such as carton printers, carton forming units, labellers, case packers, and palletisers. Experience with line management and serialisation systems for packaging lines. An underlying understanding and application of GxP principles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
