Job Description

We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Project Structural Engineers to join our client's team for a short-term contract role. The successful candidates will play a critical role in providing structural engineering expertise on a large-scale mining project. You will be responsible for managing and delivering structural engineering solutions to support the project's design, construction, and operational phases. Key Responsibilities : Assist with structural engineering activities, including designing and managing structural systems for mining projects. Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders. Provide technical support and solutions to operational teams, addressing structural challenges on-site. Review and approve engineering drawings, plans, and specifications. Ensure compliance with industry standards, local regulations, and best practices. Participate in risk management and ensure that structural integrity is maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Key Requirements : Qualified Engineer or related discipline. Proven experience in mining project engineering, with a strong background in structural engineering on mining projects. In-depth knowledge of structural design, analysis, and construction methods for mining infrastructure. Strong understanding of relevant safety standards, environmental regulations, and industry best practices. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Adelaide based preferred.
