Job Description Benefits Personalised career progression plans to help you achieve your goals Support delivery of multiple large bridges on this iconic project Come on board with a global business with a big pipeline of future work The Project The Alkimos SeaWater Alliance project will deliver WA's next major water source - A new seawater desalination plant at Alkimos. At completion of stage 1 the plant will supply up to 50 billion litres of clean, safe drinking water to millions of Western Australians each year. Key accountabilities for the position: Reporting to the Senior Project Engineer/Project Manager: As an onsite project team ensure the project is delivered to overall program to cost & time with resources needed leading to a high level of client satisfaction Manage a rolling 4-6 week look ahead program & be involved in 3-6 month forward planning Identify, analyze & mitigate risk, developing strategies and plans Drive subcontractor performance to meet project outcomes and milestones Review, interpret and manage contracts Financial forecasting and budget ownership for cost codes Provide mentoring & development to project teams made of up cadets, graduates, & site engineers Be responsible for delivery of structures packages on multiple buildings, Steel, concrete, piling, FRP works etc. This will involve a combination of self-performed and subcontracted works Required Skills and Competencies You will have a tertiary education in civil engineering, construction or similar. Advanced programming & planning skills Excellent commercial acumen with confidence in managing contracts and forecasting Able to thrive in a challenging, dynamic and fast moving environment Well-developed communication skills and an ability to build and maintain relationships with a broad range of subcontractors, local authorities, internal staff and clients What we offer At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
