We are seeking a Project Engineer (Electrical) to join our team on a 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension , to work on a major roads infrastructure project in South Australia. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of key electrical components of the project, including commissioning activities. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams to plan, optimise, and execute Electrical components of the roads project, ensuring compliance with timelines, budget, and quality standards. Oversee and coordinate commissioning activities to guarantee the proper functioning of systems and adherence to specifications. Manage contracts, procure permits and licenses, and prepare budget estimates. Plan and set out construction phases, ensuring efficient resource allocation and utilisation. Supervise sub-contractors and onsite teams, monitoring progress and quality across all project phases. Conduct regular progress reviews, address challenges, and implement corrective measures as needed. Represent ACCIONA in relevant stakeholder meetings and liaise with key partners to drive project success. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and environmental compliance throughout all project activities. Required Skills and Competencies Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. Proven experience in commissioning and delivering M&E infrastructure projects, preferably within the roads or transportation sector. Strong understanding of project lifecycle management, from planning to execution and commissioning. Excellent problem-solving, organisational, and leadership skills. Familiarity with Australian standards and regulations in infrastructure projects. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
