Job Description

CPC Engineering is a multi-disciplined engineering design, construction and project management company that has developed a reputation for delivering professional, practical and cost-effective services to the resource industry. We are currently searching for an Engineering Project Manager to join a highly talented group of professionals involved in the development of projects, design and construction of mineral processing, hydrometallurgical and materials handling projects in Australia and overseas. Base pay range A$240,000.00/yr - A$290,000.00/yr Education and Experience: Industry related higher education degree. Engineering delivery experience, process plant and non-process infrastructure, including development of technical engineering documents: datasheets, equipment specifications, drawings, schedules and models. Advanced knowledge and practical application of design theories, principles and practices. Experience in Bulk Solids Handling, Conveyor design. Ability to lead/coordinate engineering & drafting. Ability to mentor junior mechanical engineers. Ensure technical compliance of design deliverables. Ensure designs are fit for purpose and consider all aspects including cost, constructability, operability and maintainability. Site experience during construction and commissioning preferred. Innovative and flexible approach to problem solving, an ability to analyse and resolve complex issues. Engage with clients. Prepare (and assist with) tender documents. Skills and Abilities: High level communication skills – written and verbal. Takes ownership of work. Excellent organisation and time management skills.
