Project Leaders, Senior Architects + Architects We are seeking applications from passionate architects to join our great team! About Us Archipelago is one of Australia’s leading city-making design firms. We are an integrated, multi-disciplinary team of urban designers, architects, landscape architects and strategic planners. We design and deliver complex master plans, major urban projects, urban-responsive buildings, public realm and landscapes for clients across a diverse range of private and public sectors. Through the scale and richness of our work, we make significant and positive contributions to the built environment. We inhabit a light-filled modern office in the heart of the Brisbane CBD, adjacent to the Queen Street Mall. The Opportunity With the recent rapid growth of our portfolio, we are currently recruiting a number of roles including project leaders and senior architects, architects, and experienced graduates to join us in working on a range of city-making master plans, mixed use residential and commercial projects, social housing, primary health and 2032 Games infrastructure. Preferred Qualifications and Experience Relevant tertiary qualifications Registration with relevant Queensland regulatory bodies Minimum 7 years postgraduate experience for Project Leaders and Senior Architects Minimum 5 years postgraduate experience for Architects Minimum 2 years postgraduate experience for Experienced Graduates Proven track record of project delivery, from concept to detail Excellent project and team leadership skills Demonstrated experience leading projects and managing multi-disciplinary project teams, working collaboratively with clients, technical consultants and subconsultants Proficiency in the latest technology used for the design and delivery of projects. Archipelago uses Revit together with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Lumion, TwinMotion Interest and experience with Rhino, Grasshopper and computational design is advantageous but not essential Ability to work without restriction in Australia Key Personal Attributes An interest in city-making and a passion for solving complex urban challenges Experience across a range of project sectors and scales Flexible and creative design thinking Commitment to delivering great design outcomes within the required project timeframes Self-managed, takes initiative and is proactive Collaborative, inclusive, and compassionate mindset Why Archipelago?
