Job Title : Civil Project Manager About our client :Our Client is a leading firm in the civil engineering industry specializing in the design, construction, and management of infrastructure projects. We pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget, and we are looking for a dynamic and experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team. Position Overview :We are seeking a highly motivated Civil Project Manager to lead and manage the planning, execution, and completion of civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and experience working with various stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of projects. Key Responsibilities : Manage and oversee all phases of civil construction projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. Coordinate and supervise project teams, subcontractors, and vendors. Review project plans, specifications, and designs to ensure compliance with regulations and standards. Prepare and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues that arise. Ensure that safety standards are maintained on-site and that all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Liaise with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication and effective collaboration. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and clients. Required Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Proven experience (4+ years) as a Project Manager in the civil engineering or construction industry. Strong knowledge of civil construction processes, methods, and best practices. Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent). Strong understanding of contract management, budgeting, and scheduling. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, PE) are a plus. Desired Skills : Experience with both large-scale and smaller civil projects. Familiarity with local regulations, zoning, and permitting processes.
