Role Objectives Project management and general management support across a range of electrical engineering projects. Work with the Projects and Construction team, the Engineering Services team and Sales and Business Development team to grow the business and maximise all opportunities for work in the sector/region. Ensure optimised execution of all electrical engineering projects associated with the maintenance, supply, installation, and commissioning of a range of electrical equipment from generators to HV transformers to BESS equipment. Establish and maintain stakeholder relationships through effective communication. Role Responsibilities Effective management of engineering projects associated with the maintenance, supply, installation, and commissioning of a range of electrical equipment from generators to HV transformers to BESS equipment (this includes on-site project management during installation and commissioning works). Effective planning, control and monitoring, both internally and directly with the customers, of projects secured from the quotation stage, through negotiation to contract completion and final accounts. Motivate and effectively lead project teams to ensure successful delivery of projects, with a clear focus on identifying and resolving any problems that occur. Essential Experience and Qualifications required Experience of managing electrical engineering projects, particularly within the power generation and transmission industries. Transformer Maintenance Experience is a must. Minimum of 2 years direct experience as a project manager. Educated to an advanced technical level in a relevant engineering discipline. Strong commercial and project management skills, particularly negotiating, planning, estimating, costing and quoting. Experience managing a project team, organising and motivating internal labour resources and sub-contractors. Experience with on-site field / project engineering or as a site (project) manager. Demonstrated experience with successful project delivery for a minimum of a A$2million project budget. Adaptable to evolving business priorities. Willing to travel and be on-site based (outside of Sydney) for several months per annum (or more as project needs require). Right to reside and work in Australia without sponsorship.
