The Role We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead generator projects in the power and data center sectors. In this role, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing large-scale projects while maintaining a strong focus on client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and team collaboration. Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets. Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of projects. Act as the primary liaison between clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Conduct post-project evaluations to drive continuous improvement. Handle procurement, logistics, and contract negotiations efficiently. Skills and Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in power generation, electrical systems, or data centers. Proven track record of managing generator or similar infrastructure projects. Technical Expertise Deep understanding of generator systems, power distribution, and integration within data center infrastructure. Knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements in the power and data center sectors. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and financial software. Soft Skills Exceptional leadership and team management abilities. Strong communication and negotiation skills for diverse stakeholder engagement. Ability to problem-solve and deliver under pressure in fast-paced environments. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality outcomes. Certifications (Preferred) Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE2. Agile or Scrum methodology certification. Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) or equivalent. Key Attributes Willingness to travel across Australia as required. Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Analytical mindset with strong decision-making skills.
