On behalf of a growing Project Management consultancy, with a strong presence across Australia, we are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to oversee a combination of capital works and major airport expansion projects. About the Role Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager, you will be responsible for end-to-end project management, ensuring successful delivery of infrastructure projects within scope, time, and budget. You will play a key role in planning, execution, and stakeholder engagement while ensuring compliance with QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards. Key Responsibilities Manage and oversee capital works and major airport expansion projects. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring milestones are met. Implement effective cost control and budgeting strategies. Administer contracts, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation. Ensure adherence to QHSE standards and best practices. Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders. Provide leadership and guidance to project teams. Key Requirements Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of postgraduate experience within the infrastructure sector (Asset Owner, PM Consultant, or Construction Contractor backgrounds all welcomed). Strong project awareness, including scheduling, budgeting, and cost control. Experience in contract administration and stakeholder management. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced infrastructure environment. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Commitment to long-term residential employment in Mackay.
