Add expected salary to your profile for insights The CSA Mine is located in Cobar NSW and is Australia’s highest-grade copper mine. We are located 11 kilometres north-west of Cobar, central western New South Wales. At 1.9 kilometres deep, it is one of Australia’s deepest underground mines. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, CSA Mine directly employs over 500 people including contractors. About the Role: As the Project Manager , you will be responsible for delivering key ventilation projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and contractors to coordinate all aspects of project execution, including risk management, regulatory compliance, and site operations integration. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the execution of major ventilation projects, including return air upgrades, fresh air bypasses, and new orebody ventilation systems. Liaise with site technical professionals and external contractors to ensure smooth project delivery. Manage project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments, ensuring alignment with operational requirements. Coordinate procurement of long lead-time items such as fans, power cables, and substations. Ensure compliance with NSW mining regulations by preparing and submitting high-risk activity statements. Conduct regular engagement meetings with site management to provide project updates. About You: Proven experience in project management within an underground mining environment. Strong technical knowledge of mine ventilation systems and infrastructure development. Experience in contractor management, scheduling, and budget control. Familiarity with NSW mining regulations and compliance requirements. Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
