Department of HealthHospitals & Primary Care - Hospitals NthLaunceston General Hospital Applications must be submitted by Sunday 09 March, 2025 11:55 PM Award/Classification: Health and Human Services (Tasmanian State Service) Award, General Stream, Band 7 $128,102 to $134,832 per annum Employment type: Full Time Region: North Location: LGH Charles Street, Launceston The Project Manager will: Work closely with the Executive Director Clinical Operations and Performance to develop, manage, and implement strategies, plans and processes to ensure the delivery of the Hospitals North access and flow program. Identify and understand contemporary health service demand issues and challenges and specify solutions (people, processes, and technology) that meet business requirements and deliver measurable benefits. Utilise a strong background in clinical practice and project management to coordinate the implementation of several clinical redesign projects consistent with service objectives and timeframes. Support local solutions aimed at improving access to care and embed improvement in service provision that ensures continual and sustained access & flow improvements. Develop evaluation frameworks to monitor and assess outcomes, particularly from a service development and readiness perspective and project outcome measures. The Team: Working with the Executive Director Operations and Performance, the role will collaborate with services across Launceston General Hospital on initiatives and projects aimed at improving access & flow for the Northern Tasmanian community. You will need: Develop and participate in communication strategies to ensure effective working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders across various Hospitals North projects. Ensure that agreed targets, milestones, and standards of allocated projects and strategic initiatives are effectively and efficiently met. Details of appointment: Permanent, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you can join the team. *Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Salary: $128,102 to $134,832 per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
