Reporting to the Programme Director Site Transition, this role will be a key member of the Site Transition Leadership Team and will operate as a vital leadership role for the organisation. The incumbent will project manage the implementation of station decommissioning and islanding, demolition scope and tender preparation, final state rehabilitation execution and ensure contractor activities and project deliverables are in line with legislative requirements, Site Transition project management frameworks and AGL values, standards and objectives.What you'll be doing Preparation, implementation and proactive leadership of HSE Management Plans. Preparation of planning documentation including detailed scope and methodologies in collaboration with internal and external subject-matter experts. Implement a comprehensive project management and control framework, including annual budgets, forecast reviews, risk management, schedule and execution plans. Establish and maintain a project governance and reporting framework, including progress reporting, change management and document control in conjunction with project control and administrative support. Lead contract formation, tender and delivery with the assistance of a multi-disciplinary team in accordance with AGL Procurement processes. Lead the on-site contract execution, including HSE, schedule, quality, contract administration and relationship management. With internal and external support, manage ongoing station compliance and asset integrity. Act as the key regulatory interface for works delivery and assist with community and other stakeholder engagement. Collaborate with a broad range of internal stakeholders, including Torrens Operations and Maintenance, functional business partners and the Energy Hubs team. Continuously improve systems and processes in collaboration with the Transition Centre of Excellence Team. Development of annual budgets and four-year forecasts for decommissioning, demolition and facility management. Manage daily activities and projects according to approved budgets within limits of authority. Escalation of personnel, plant, equipment issues to the required authority level as required. Performance management of direct reports, providing regular feedback and clear career development pathways, development of PDR's, and remuneration reviews. What you'll bring to the table Demonstrated HSE in-field leadership Experience in project management and delivery in demolition, construction or equivalent Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction or Project Management combined with relevant experience Current White Card certification (or willing to obtain) Demonstrated experience in strategic commercial management and contract administration Experience in large scale decommissioning, demolition and/or construction projects, inclusive of the planning and executional phases.
