The Role Keyton is seeking a Development Project Manager to join our newest development, The Health and Wellbeing Precinct located on the University of Wollongong’s Innovation Campus. It will be one of Australia’s first intergenerational university communities which includes a vertical retirement village (circa 235 apartments), a Community/Wellness Centre, integrated University spaces, a co-located Aged care and Early Learning Centre and an extensive Public Domain. Reporting to National Development Project Manager, the Development Project Manager will be responsible for leading the safe, timely, and cost-efficient delivery of the residential apartments within the precinct. Oversee the project from DA approval to delivery of works in accordance to project plan, scheduling, EHS guidelines and budget. Source and coordinate the team of consultants and managing contractors to ensure programmed milestones are met. Lead quality control, oversee design, programmed efficiency, governance and reporting. Stakeholder management to effectively report on progress, challenges and changes throughout project lifecycle. Manage and adhere to the Design process and program. Leverage design, project management and construction expertise to proactively identify risk and implement mitigation. Contractor procurement and engagement. About you: Minimum 5 years experience as a project manager (ideally with a strong design focus) or in a similar role. Qualifications in construction management, engineering or similar are essential. Demonstrated experience in managing multistorey residential construction projects with a high focus on the end user, safety and quality. Effortless communication skills, conflict resolution and leadership skills. Ability to prioritise and have attention to detail.
