Job Description
Global Mining Giant needs a Project Manager to deliver site programs and oversee multiple projects for a 12-month ongoing contract. You will be engaged from initiation, through to service introduction and be accountable for shaping project delivery, scoping, budgets and ensuring the implemented solutions align with strategic plans. The role will involve daily interaction with the broader IT/OT engineering team, as well as a range of internal and external stakeholders and reporting to the Program Manager. Key duties and experience of the role include: Manage projects to ensure that all deliverables are on time, in budget and technically correct within scope. End-to-end management of all project phases from requirements analysis, solution design, development, systems testing, training and implementation in accordance with the project methodology. Assess resource requirements and allocate resources for specific elements of the projects. PM Skills - people skills, managing budgets, schedules, reliable and able to work with uncertainty. Support design processes and project administration. Understanding fundamentals of Controls, SCADA and Automation is a bonus. Conduct project planning, monitoring, and reporting to assess project performance. Desirable certification in at least one project management discipline/methodology, e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, AIPM. You will bring: Junior to Mid level - 5 years' experience in Technology related project management. IT and OT Experience (preferably a blend of both). Experience in leading or operating within a complex project environment integrating works across multiple sub-contractors. Hands-on experience in managing and executing projects, implementing quality standards/procedures. Expertise on Schneider, Rockwell and Siemens Control Systems. Must have Industry experience in mining, oil/gas/wastewater, power generation, etc. If you are looking for a challenge and want to work on a long-term contract position with a blue chip mining company, then we want to speak to you.
