Excellent Opportunity for Project Managers - IT and policy projects! Opportunity to work for a Victorian Government client!!! Duration: 12-month Work Arrangement: Hybrid Your new role The Project Manager is responsible for the delivery of policy projects (including IT projects) on time, scope, and budget and to the satisfaction of the customer and the Business Divisions. Accountabilities Track and report progress and performance of projects, producing and maintaining plans regarding timeframes and resourcing, ensuring necessary modules and programs are completed according to project plans and the Project Delivery. Report on project delivery, milestones and progress against agreed plans, and in-line with the department's Project Delivery Methodology. Prepare timely, accurate and high-quality reports, documents (e.g., Concept Brief, program plan) briefings and presentations for key stakeholders and project governance forums (i.e., Project Steering Committee, Transformation Decision Group), on often complex issues, within the department in relation to the delivery and management of projects. What you'll need to succeed Excellent knowledge and experience in managing complex end-to end Policy and IT projects, managing financials, risks, resources, and vendors coupled with a developed understanding of the project life cycle, project documentations, project standards and governance. Demonstrated experience and ability in preparing project plans and project documents that are aligned with the organisation’s strategic vision. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports, project briefings, presentations, and policy recommendations on broad and complex issues. Working knowledge on project management systems to effectively track project health and progress, i.e., OnePlan, Jira, SharePoint.
