Moreover, this is your chance to be part of the success story. The Role: We are expanding our Insurance Consulting team and looking for a Project Manager to join the team. You will predominately work within a squad of cross functional consultants (for example, Digital Strategists, Digital Architects, Agile Coaches) and provide the industry and client business perspective on the challenge that we are solving for our client. In the context of consulting that means you will be: Helping a client find and create new value for their customers, their business and our society through technology. Helping a client understand what a modern business means in their context and how to manage the transition to it. Facilitating the future design, orchestrating how Cognizant and its partners deliver that outcome and helping the client get value from it. Typically, you will work on engagements that last between 8 weeks and 6 months where you will be analysing a business, its people, their customers to define and solve complex business problems by shaping a strategy, designing a digital solution or architecting the implementation. Sometimes you will work through all those stages in the transformation lifecycle. As a Project Manager you will be responsible for: Collaborate with Business and Technology stakeholders to establish working groups focusing on emerging technologies. Develop, own, and execute comprehensive Program Plans to achieve milestones, including coordinating Steerco and sprint review presentations. Leverage project management and agile tools to manage workflows effectively and maintain progress tracking. Participate actively in estimation meetings to facilitate accurate project scoping and resource planning. Ensure all solutions developed adhere to relevant industry standards and best practices. Ideate innovative solutions and accelerators to enhance delivery quality and optimize costs. Stay abreast of the latest technology trends and incorporate them into project strategies. Demonstrate knowledge of systems and the business functionalities of interfacing applications to deliver holistic solutions. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Monitor and report project progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders. Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and communication. Proactively identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Ensure that proposed solutions are focused on improving efficiency and effectiveness of the business processes and are consistent across products where possible. To apply for this Project Manager position, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include: Ability to communicate technical concepts to all audiences verbally and in writing. Experience working in P&C domain. Experienced with Agile SCRUM methodology and business analysis methodologies; solid understanding of business analysis documentation standards. Consistent record of creating clear, concise work that reflect a deep understanding of business needs and the out of the box software functionality. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Experience operating and working with business management, including negotiation and presentation skills.
