Project Manager - Mechanical or Civil / Structural Engineer The Company: We are a Project Management Consultancy, established in 2021 and pride ourselves on a client-focused, practical and successful approach to custom-made construction projects delivery for our clients in NSW from the public and private sectors. Due to recent project wins, we continue on a solid growth trajectory and are seeking a motivated, ambitious team player to join us. The Position: As Project Manager or Senior Project Engineer (Mechanical or Civil / Structural Engineer) on the client side , you will run multiple projects concurrently from concept through to completion, working closely with multiple clients throughout the project to ensure agreed milestones and outcomes are achieved. You will be supported by and reporting directly to our director. You will be responsible for driving a project portfolio (multi-discipline projects) with each project typically ranging from $500k to $20 mil in value, we also have opportunities to fill roles on larger critical infrastructure projects up to 150 mil in value: Strong technical abilities required, we are seeking a mechanical or civil / structural engineer with a bachelor degree or higher Project initiation and planning, due diligence, engineering and design phase management, development approvals, tendering and procurement and construction phases until close-out Contract / commercial negotiation and control throughout the tender and construction phases will be key Effective management of WHS & Environment, technical finesse / practical field engineering, reporting (budget, schedule, stakeholders) excellence in Quality Assurance / Control and Surveillance Exemplary communications amongst all project stakeholders and excellent client relations About You: Bachelor Degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering (preferably) or Civil / Structural Engineering At least 10 years+ project delivery experience, preferably working for a consultancy or on the client-side, eg. as project manager or senior project engineer Ideally experience working in (local) government and / or heavy industry experience with onsite construction site experience Thrives working in a challenging, fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task, managing multiple projects and multiple clients at a time Consultative approach to stakeholder engagement and strong interpersonal and communication skills Outstanding attention to detail with a solution-focused approach to problem-solving and strong client focus A can-do attitude with a proactive and self-motivated approach to work Legally permitted to work in Australia permanently The Benefits: Competitive remuneration package (permanent, full-time) with a target range of 145 – 160k including superannuation (11.5 %) depending on experience and skill set Diverse client base allowing you to work on a wide variety of projects across several sectors Working onsite at our clients’ office as well as the construction projects’ construction sites Ongoing career development / mentoring opportunities and possibility of long-term engagement / shaping this young company and moving into senior positions Laptop and mobile phone provided Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided Standard ordinary work hours are 40h per week, 5 days a week, with the opportunity to work additional hours (to be agreed prior) To apply, please click the ‘apply now’ button or forward your resume to or ask any question about this fantastic opportunity.
