PROJECT MANAGER - RESIDENTIAL BUILDER DEVELOPER (CLASS 1 HOUSING) - BAULKHAM HILLS Overview Of The Company / Role Head office Baulkham Hills Residential Builder Developer who focuses on class 1 integrated housing projects A national brand operating in VIC, NSW and QLD The NSW business unit was established in 2015 and currently has a headcount of 74 staff They have two defined divisions in the business; one being their ‘projects’ division where they deliver class 1 housing and retirement living projects for developers Their clients vary from top tier, publicly listed developers like Stockland, Lendlease and Crown Group, to smaller boutique developers They have a very healthy pipeline of work and plan to deliver 300 site starts for FY 25/26 The purpose of the role is to: Lead, manage and monitor the entire project lifecycle from new business/tender, design, procurement and delivery for Class 1 & Retirement Living projects Build strong client relationships to understand and satisfy client needs The role will report to the Operations Manager and work alongside 1 Senior Project Manager and two other Project Managers The salary depends on years of experience as a Project Manager; range $130k - $160k + Super + Etag + Fuel Card (must have own vehicle) Key Responsibilities Manage tendering process for new business including early contractor engagement and ensure processes and guidelines are adhered to Plan, manage and monitor detailed design and construction of projects ensuring the design, procurement and delivery processes are adhered to Manage variations and progress claims Ensure cost management, forecasting and reporting is completed as required Identify, monitor and manage key project risks Ensure a high level of quality assurance across all projects is adhered to Contribute to the provision of a safe working environment by role modelling safety behaviours Minimise redesign and rework during the construction process Manage and coordinate a team of Project Managers, Cost Planners and Estimators Build strong relationships with Construction Managers and Site Supervisors to ensure project deliverables are met Ensure team is adequately resourced Manage program requirements to meet and exceed Client’s expectations Key Relationships Operations Manager Senior Management Team (department heads) Project Managers Senior Cost Planner Construction Manager Site Supervisors Clients External Consultants Suppliers and Subcontractors Development Managers Requirements To Apply To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 3 years experience in a Project Management role You must have demonstrated ability in delivering complex construction projects for a head contractor across the residential (class 1 housing) and/or commercial sector Open to considering candidates from client side project management but this must be alongside previous head contracting experience also This role suits someone with exceptional relationship building skills, good emotional intelligence, and solid technical knowledge (construction) How to Apply To send in an application, please hit ‘Apply’ and attach resume or alternatively, if you have any questions about the role or company please ‘Call’ Corrina Mckinnel on 0410 859 186.
