Based at the Millmerran mine site, you will be the first point of contact for our company and be responsible for a team of fitters based on site. Your extensive knowledge of large mining hydraulic excavators and Hitachi Mining trucks will enable you to be successful in this customer-facing role. Reporting to the Toowoomba Branch Co-ordinator, you will enjoy being personally connected to promoting Hitachi’s service and parts components to deliver Total Customer Satisfaction and ensuring a high degree of service and support is maintained. Responsibilities Ensure compliance with company Environmental Policy, Quality Assurance System and Workplace Health & Safety requirements. Prepare customer activity reports and present them as required by your CSM and branch management. Utilize customer tracking software such as AMT, FIR, CRM, etc. Discipline in identifying sales opportunities. Planning and scheduling work to ensure the effective utilization of resources and to also maintain contract availability and financial KPI’s. Provide support and guidance for safety, technical, organisational and personnel needs for a team of site-based HCA technicians. About You Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering, HV Electrician trade or related heavy diesel qualifications. Trusted to provide holistic technical advice on hydraulics and mechanical components for Hitachi’s Large Mining Excavator range. Committed to meeting deadlines through planning and execution of shutdowns, working collaboratively with the Service Department to meet and exceed customer expectations. Plan and prepare relevant documentation related to machine performance, customer products, workmanship, warranty and diagnostic information. Previous mine site experience will be highly regarded.
