This Contract role is starting immediately and will continue for a minimum of 12 months. Responsibilities: Oversee the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring it stays within the approved scope, quality standards, timeframes, and budget, while delivering outcomes that meet user expectations. Provide formal status updates to stakeholders, including weekly progress reports. Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, building strong partnerships with internal client and vendor teams. Manage relationships with team members, customers, vendors, and all stakeholders, providing clear direction, visibility, and leadership to all parties involved. Manage towards the success criteria for the project and ensure all team members understand their roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities. Proactively monitor project quality and identify, track, and manage project risks and issues, ensuring they are addressed in a timely manner. Ensure deliverables meet customer expectations and secure sign-off upon successful completion of agreed-upon outcomes. What will make you successful in this role? Essential Skills and Experience: Proven leadership and project management expertise, particularly in delivering and implementing complex payroll systems. Previous experience managing complex projects involving award interpretation. Strong interpersonal skills, with a personable, proactive, and accountable approach. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with key stakeholders. Experience working in complex organisational environments and with remote teams. A logical, structured decision-making approach to problem-solving. A focus on securing early user buy-in and maintaining it throughout the project to ensure a well-accepted, fit-for-purpose outcome. Ability to perform well under pressure, resolve conflicts, and reach consensus among users and stakeholders. A results-driven mindset, focused on achieving successful project outcomes. Desirable Experience in some or all the following skills is considered desirable: Implementation of payroll systems within Healthcare or Service sectors / or alternative complex Award environments Experience in cloud-based HCM platforms (Such as Workday), including introduction of scheduling/rostering capability Workshop facilitation coupled with change management experience Qualifications Formal qualifications in Project Management are desirable but not essential.
