Project Manager (SA) | Electronic Security Our client is a diverse global organisation delivering quality Electronic Security Service & Maintenance contracts, and Installation projects to a range of industrial, commercial and government clients. Building Services Recruitment Australia (BSRA) has been exclusively engaged to recruit an energised and proven Project Manager for their high performing South Australian and Northern Territory divisions. The Role As an experienced Electronic Security Project Manager, you will utilise your skills and experience in overseeing the delivery of large-scale Defence and commercial projects. This includes ensuring best practices in project planning, resource allocation, scheduling, milestones, costings, design, and compliance with project specifications and contracts. Your strong financial acumen will ensure successful management of all financial aspects of these projects, including revenue, invoicing, and margin budgets. You will be a consummate professional with an ability to provide/present monthly forecasts and updates as well as negotiate variances and increases when required. As a strong advocate for safety, you will lead from the front in a Zero Harm culture. You’ll have a focus on the day-to-day operations of your projects including overseeing regulatory compliance, installation of cabling and equipment, and ensuring quality project output from the entire project delivery team. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal will keep all key stakeholders aware of current project status, issues, and concerns. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize tasks, liaise with stakeholders for project profit, and ensure compliance with contractual conditions. Foster a zero-harm culture and address on-site issues with all involved parties. Develop and maintain key customer relationships while establishing feedback systems. Manage technicians, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet quality standards. Optimize organizational effectiveness, forecast resources, and manage project budgets. About You: You will have strong technical aptitude and communication skills, enabling you to develop a process-driven culture that meets KPIs. Your organisational and prioritisation skills will help you manage tasks and time effectively. You will excel in networking, building customer relationships, and have robust electronic security product and market knowledge. Additionally, you will improve field service management processes and possess strong people management and training skills, ensuring accountability. You must be an Australian Citizen and have, or be able to obtain Defence Security Clearance NV1. Driver's license (mandatory). Security License or ability to obtain (mandatory). Familiarity with Australian Standards (AS3000 & AS2201). Membership in the Australian Institute of Project Management (preferred). Minimum 3 years of project management/engineering experience. Knowledge of government and industry processes. Proven performance in meeting targets. Experience in designing security systems (alarm, access control, CCTV). Familiarity with project planning software (MS Project, Primavera preferred). Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Project Management/Engineering (preferred). The successful candidate will be required to be flexible at times to work varying hours to accommodate interstate time differences.
